Brian Talma has reopened his deAction Beach Shop in Barbados. The Silver Sands area has gone through some major changes. His old shop which was based in the famous Silver Rock Hotel are both gone. However the new deAction Beach shop is five seconds away, directly on the beach, which is the best location for kiting and windsurfing.The deAction Beach shop is a wooden two story wooden structure, the lower deck has all the rental facilities and the upper story is a retail beach shop and a place to relax and have something to eat, with a view of all deAction!!
Brian say, "I believe Barbados has one of the best beach cultures in the world, with the combination of great windsurfing, surfing, kitesurfing, festive nightlife, music and the dynamic way visitors and locals interact. The deAction Beach shop's objective is to cater to water person's needs and allowing them to experience Bajan Beach Culture."
DeAction beach has the perfect laid out. Looking out to sea, on the right side of the beach there is a small reef break, ideal for surfing and learning to Surf. In the lagoon area it's excellent for intermediates windsurfers not comfortable in waves yet and beginners. On the outer reef, it's ideal for windsurfers that wish to start venturing in the waves or experts that desire some fun wave action. If there isn't any wind, there is nothing better than doing some stand up paddling on the outer reefs.
The deAction Beach Shop stocks a range of the Hot Sail Maui, with sail such models as the Super Freak and Smack. The shop also has a range of surfboards and does beginner windsurfing, surfing and kitesurfing lessons.
The best time to visit Barbados for windsurfing is any time between November and July.
